It's been a dull hair week - about the only thing I've done interesting has been to give myself almost nightly Megassages - I'm eager, yet nervous about this weekends growth photos....
Here is the two week comparison pics, done a little better.

Two things I notice - both, I think, to the benefit of growth.
1) The March braid was fatter, which mean it would have shrank up more.
2) The March braid wasn't combed out as well as the February braid, so the ends should look fuller.
Even taking those two things into account, my hair has CLEARLY grown over those two weeks. Considering that my hair grows about 1/4 inch a month *sigh* - and the space between my nose and mouth are almost exactly 1/2 inch apart.... for a 'normal' months growth, I should be just BARELY touching my upper lip in this next set of pics. Considering the twist that I was playing with earlier in the week while my hair was out was almost to my lower lip - I think I'm doing pretty good. I hope so. I really, really, REALLY, hope so - because if it does work, and it works that well - the Mega-Tek would be doubling my growth rate. *blink* Which, would bloody well rock.
I could poke myself for NOT having taken better pictures - sheesh, Kiya! I'm usually not eyeballing the previous pic when I take the current one though, so I might need to change that, and create a 'picture standard' for myself.
Mrr, though, really, once I either prove or disprove Mega-Tek, I really won't be trying to keep up with these SUPER tiny changes, just the major ones, so maybe it doesn't matter.
Me, being the skeptical pessimist that I am, is still marginally in denial, really. Personally, I won't believe it til I see it for myself. Though, I HAVE to admit - I do like how it feels in/on my hair. I've noticed that usually, when I take my twists out, I'll get little pieces of broken hair off of the end - since I've started the MT - nada. And - my shedding has gone down a LOT too. And - I WILL continue to use it on my fingernails - bottom line, as they have gotten HUGELY stronger since I've been using the Mega-Tek, and usually I don't even bother actually applying it to my nails - it's just what gets on them as I'm working my hair.
So.
I dunno!! I wanna be hype, but I'm still reserving final judgment - and that final judgment is SOLELY on the growth enhancing properties of MT, as it's other properties rock.
At 20ish bucks for 16 ounces, and at my current rate of using about - hrm, say an ounce to two ounces a month (and to use the two ounces, I would have to be doing my hair at LEAST 4/5 nights a week), that's - at least a years worth of the stuff. It's definitely worth it...even if it doesn't live up to ALL of it's hype. *fingercrossed* But - so many other ladies have seen increased growth - and increased thickness - it's can't be hype!
Yes, this is me doing my public weeblewobble - I'm a skeptic.
Okay - off the growth stuff - our anniversary is this weekend, and I'm trying to figure out what I'm going to do with my hair. We'll be out of town for the weekend, and I think that what I'll do is just leave my hair in the updo til Sat morning, then take it down, get it soaking wet, and rock a lovely lil twist out. Then, bantu knot it Sat night, and take it back down the next day, and hopefully, be able to rock a twist out again. Though, I'm going to be twitchy about not taking my hair down tonight - I've been fondling the back of it all day - I misssss my hair!! *sigh* I'll be busy though, so it'll be aiight, I suppose.
Hrm.
I think I'm done.
ho-hum.....
