Saturdayssssss.....

I'm going to try to get much better at recording the weekly 'what I do's' so that I can actually 'see' what the heck I'm doing over time.

Today, I'm steaming with ayurvedics & hibiscus, SAA, Honey, MT, EYPCR, EQPIFC, Cheapie, and a touch of Replenish.

I think I've figured out the PERFECT outfit to steam in. I have a thin knit lounge shirt with a hood on it. If I put the hood up on top of the turbies & showercaps, and put the bonnet over that, the hood nicely protects my neck from the heat, which makes this whole process ever so much more comfy.

I fully plan on steaming every weekend until my hair cries out in over-moisturized agony. *evil grin* Then, I'm gonna henna it. I think this might be how I get through the whole winter - steaming is nice when it's cold. *lol*

My hairstyle from yesterday (one comb, 2 GHD pins) not only lasted through the night, but also lasted being slept on, and allowed me to go and run some errands today feeling rather cute. I snapped a bunch of pictures, but I didn't grab the camera cable before I trapped myself under the steamer, so I'll have to add them later. Very cute style, if I do say so myself.

I'm starting to seriously consider how long I'm going to continue my current MT regimen. Not that I'm going to stop anytime soon, as my thoughts are running along the lines of 'By the time I'm BSL' more so than 'next month'.

My thoughts though, are centered around the limitations that daily use of MT places on my hairstyling options. I..... Hrmmmm.
I have to wear my hair in a way that is parted so that it allows me easy access to my scalp. And, I also feel that daily manipulation to create those parts is simply not something that my hair can handle, as that would require pulling it away from itself, and I prefer to do that when it's wet, and that defeats the whole purpose of stretching and etc, etc, etc....

But! I've always kinda had it in my mind that even when I did wear my hair stretched out, it would basically be in a daily twist-out, because I would twist my hair before I went to bed. And I'm thinking that if I can twist my hair, I could just twist it into 10 sections, or so, and MT those. But then, I don't know if that might be too much manipulation daily, too. It's not the movement, it's the pulling. *sigh* I'll have to think on it.

Steaming always makes me want to take a nap.
